Knowledge management is a key issue to maintain competitive strength. It is also a complex topic to implement in a business.

 

Why is that? First of all it is difficult to understand what it means. It tends to be a buzz word with no content if we fail to explain the elements properly. Another obstacle is the lack of ownership because the time spent on knowledge management has nothing to do with the daily business - or has it?

 

The work we have done in Kromann Reumert on knowledge management the past 1,5 years shows that it has everything to do with the daily business. Our experience is that knowledge management can be implemented if it is done in a structured way and by using sufficient time.
